We partner with charities to offer free holistic services for the underserved communities they support. We ensure our partitioners are fairly compensated for the service delivered.

Our story

In 2020, I began volunteering with the Nafsiyat Women Group, offering chair yoga sessions to vulnerable women. From the very beginning, the response was deeply moving—these sessions quickly became a space where women felt seen, supported, and gently encouraged to reconnect with themselves.

As the need grew, I invited other practitioners to join me. I coordinated sessions, recruited volunteers, and did everything I could to ensure continuity. Volunteers gave their time generously, but it soon became clear that without compensation, sustaining this kind of support long-term was not possible. The question kept returning: how do we ensure consistent access to holistic services, while also guaranteeing fair pay for the people delivering them?

That’s when the idea for Lifting Souls CIC began to take shape. I realised we needed a structure that could honour the value of our practitioners, provide reliable support to the people we serve, and expand our reach to other organisations—like Nafsiyat—that work with vulnerable adults.

Lifting Souls was created to do just that: to make holistic wellness more accessible, more consistent, and more rooted in care—while ensuring that the practitioners, whose work is so deeply appreciated by the communities we serve, are fairly compensated.

This is more than a project.
It’s a vision for a more compassionate society, where healing is something we all have access to.
